The week from 05/04 to 05/11 in Oiapoque recorded 20 incidents, with emphasis on domestic violence, drug trafficking, and serious cases involving children.

Domestic violence and arrest warrant on Tuesday
On Tuesday (5), the Civil Police executed an arrest warrant in the Infraero neighborhood. On the same day, a woman reported being a victim of bodily harm and threats from her partner, in an occurrence classified under the Maria da Penha Law. Authorities took appropriate action.
Serious crime against children in spa resort
Also on Tuesday (5), the police are investigating a case of extreme seriousness that occurred in a spa resort in the city. According to information being investigated, a 4-year-old child was allegedly a victim of rape of a vulnerable person and sexual harassment, while another child, while trying to defend her, was physically assaulted by the suspect. Due to the involvement of minors, no data that allows the identification of the victims will be disclosed, as determined by the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA, Art. 143). The case remains under investigation.
Wednesday: violence, theft, and seized motorcycle
Wednesday (6) concentrated three distinct occurrences. An indigenous woman reported being assaulted by a family member, with her baby also suffering minor injuries; the case is being investigated by authorities. On the city's waterfront, the Municipal Guard arrested a man suspected of shoplifting and assaulting the owner. Also on Wednesday, the Military Police seized a motorcycle with a theft record during a patrol, with the case forwarded to the police station.
Thursday: receiving stolen goods, abandonment of an incapacitated person, and bullying with assault
On Thursday (7), two men were arrested on suspicion of aggravated receiving stolen goods, accused of diverting network cables from a telecommunications company for resale. At Ramal do Igarapé Grande, the Guardianship Council, with the support of the Military Police, responded to a report of abandonment of incapacitated persons involving minors who allegedly suffered aggressions; the case was forwarded for legal action. Also on Thursday, an incident of physical aggression was reported near a state school, involving two teenagers. Due to the involvement of minors, no identifying data of those involved will be disclosed (ECA, Art. 143).
Friday: drug trafficking dismantled and crime against minor
On Friday (8), the Penitentiary Police served an arrest warrant in a neighborhood in the city. In a more complex operation, the Military Police dismantled a drug trafficking point in the Nova União neighborhood, seizing narcotics and arresting multiple individuals. In the same location, a case of rape of a vulnerable person was found, with the arrest of a man suspected of having sexual relations with a minor. The person responsible for the property was also arrested. The minor victims will not be identified, according to the ECA.
Weekend: drug trafficking on the waterfront and minors found
On Saturday (9), the Military Police arrested a suspected drug trafficker on the city's waterfront who tried to flee into the river, discarding a package with drugs between boats. On the same day, two teenagers who had disappeared from the Nova Conquista neighborhood were found in an abandoned residence, unharmed; the case was forwarded to the Guardianship Council. On Sunday (10), an argument over debt collection at a gas station in the binational area resulted in an altercation, with a man being assaulted with punches and a helmet. The aggressor was located and arrested by the Military Police nearby.

The week of May 4 to 11 totaled 20 occurrences, generating 45 forensic requests, with 44 already completed. The period reinforces the need for continuous attention from authorities for the protection of children and adolescents and the fight against domestic violence and drug trafficking.
